THE ARISTOCATS

This is a film called the Aristocats.  The kittens names are Marie, Berlioz, and Toulouse. Their mom is Duchess and their soon-to-be dad is Thomas.  It's because he's not fully their dad, he becomes their dad at the end.  it is fun and exciting . The butler named Edgar, when he hears that Madame Bonfamile says that she is going to leave all her treasures and gold to the cats instead of Edgar the butler. So Edgar immediately tries to make a sleeping potion to make the cats go to sleep so in the middle of the night he can take them away so he can get the gold and coins for himself.  The mom and the kittens were put by a river bank - one by one they were found and met together.  After meeting the cat Thomas, they met goose on the way back to the city. And before the goose, they went on a magic carpet ride which was a milk truck.  After the goose, they met the uncle goose Waldo.  He was marinated.  He was drunk.  They go to Thomas' home for a while to get rest after the night and go back to Paris. After meeting the scat gang of alley cats and Roquefort the mouse, they come back from Roquefort trying to tell them that Edgar is going to tie them up in the bag. After Edgar doing that he again, Roquefort, starts to find Thomas to rescue the cats. After rescuing the cats they sing a song. The end.

This is my Little Pony Gangnam Style.  I think it will be more appropriate than regular Gangnam Style.  Try it out, all you have to do is just try the link.  I think you will like it. And if you watch some My Little Pony videos it has some scenes. Good luck on finding them.

I like My Little Pony, it's because it's cute and every day they learn a new adventure lesson, and I've already watched all of them.  And when you watch them again and again, the same thing keeps happening so there's no point in watching them.

TIFF Kids is a film festival for kids.
April 9-21.

Here are some of great the films you can see.

The Intergalactic Space Adventures of Cleo and Anouk

It was an amazing movie and I  loved the outer space atmosphere.  I wouldn't leave the windows open if I went into outer space. Going out on bikes after dark to find ghosts in the park is a crazy idea. I think that it's nice how they used puppets. I would love to meet the two girls who starred in this show and I think it would be amazing to actually know or see who actually wrote this show.  I like that it has two girls as the two stars - because I don't usually see that. I usually see boys or usually I see cartoons. I don't really see real live actors too much.  I thought it was funny and a bit different. This show is good for any age. No scary atmosphere.

It made me think about going on adventures. And I already went on some adventures. Once I went up cable cars, another time I went swimming with a baby.  Another time I was sitting on the Alps of Austria on the ledge of a table. I even saw a person hanggliding down.

No Noodles

I think it was funny and it was amazing how they used the clay. I thought it was cool to see a dinosaur come out of the noodles.

The Race
The race is a very nice movie. I think that it is very cute. I liked the artwork and I liked how it's a story I already know but it is different. My favourite character  was tortoise. I liked the way he moved a little then he stopped. I liked that you can win by taking a nice walk, no need to run. This movie is good for any age. It was fantastic.

Macropolis
Macropolis is about a cat and a dog. They go on a journey together after they are thrown out but they come back to life as pirate toys. At the end of the show they find a home.  I liked that it is very adventurous. I loved how they made the world go so fast but they're going so slow.

The Little Team
The Little Team is a film about soccer. I love how it's so cute.  It's nice how they tell a story that's real.  It's about soccer and it's about this team - they work so hard but they never get it, their destiny - a goal.  I thought it was really funny.

Dreampacker
It was very interesting and I liked how the girl was creative. I really think the backpack would get stuffed.

Rise of the Guardians

I saw Rise of the Guardians twice - at a theatre downtown and at my school.  I liked it a lot. But it was a little edgy and things, a little bit sad.

First there were four Guardians: Sandman, Santa Claus, the Toothfairy and the Easter Bunny.   DON'T READ THIS PART IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SPOILED OVER THIS MOVIE. There was some sadness about Sandman turning into black sand and he wasn't in the movie for a while. Then he came back to life and it was almost at the end so he didn't stay in the movie for long. I wish they left him in longer.

By the way, Jack Frost agreed to be in the Guardians, for a team, though he thought the Easter Bunny was a kangaroo.  There was this weird guy Pitch, he had this nightmare horse that protected him, when he thought he was going to defeat the Guardians. He tried to get Jack Frost to join his side by saying night and coldness go together, and Jack Frost is a guy who makes these drawings with ice.  And Pitch is some guy who wants to be powerful and scare everyone to death.  And he also wants to be believed in.

I would recommend 6 or up to watch this movie because scary points are included. There was a funny part, because Sandman talks in these little sand pictures but when he was trying to say the Man in the Moon was talking to them, they wouldn't listen. He tried flags, he tried everything. Then he got an idea, he took an elf, they had bells on their head, and shook them. Ding, ding ding!

I learned that the darkness is nothing but bad things but that doesn't make me think that bad dreams is nothing but smoke coming out of my head. For the good guys there was this yellow sand over the kids' heads and those are the things they are dreaming of. And obviously they are good things.  Like for example, unicorns with a girl riding on top  of it or a giant cupcake that a kid ate in one second.

Once I had a good dream about a huge lollipop, then I licked it and then I realized it was so rocky, then it wasn't a lollipop, it was a candy cane - so I bit it. Then I just sucked on it for a whole week and then it was gone and my teeth were red and white.  Then I touched my teeth and I turned into a candy cane - Super Candy Cane!

And by the way, the elves don't make the toys, the yetis do and the elves eat the cookies.  But when an elf is eating a cookie he spit it out because Santa Claus was supposed to eat the cookies.

I believe in Santa Claus. I believe in the Tooth Fairy, in the Easter Bunny and Jack Frost. Although I never see the ice pictures. It's a pity.

 The Cat Came Back

The Cat Came Back is a very nice play.  I saw it at Young People's Theatre.  Young People's Theatre has very nice plays for kids and adults and all kinds of ages.  I've been in a few ballet shows there, but that's a whole other story.  Today we're talking about The Cat Came Back.  Here are the characters:

Mr Johnson
Puppeteer/Musician
Puppeteer/Musician
Fred
The Cat

I love the plays at Young People's Theatre.  'The Cat Came Back' has very interesting characters and actors.  Fred was trying to make a song called 'The Cat Came Back', but it made Mr. Johnson crazy about that cat.  Fred's musicians tried to help Fred try to make Mr Johnson love his cat and have lots of kittens. I liked that the cat always came back, it's a very special cat because the cat always came back.  I especially liked when the cat kept tricking Mr. Johnson into the cat ripping his sweater. I liked the songs - they're funny, silly and all different kinds of expressions like sad and happy. I liked the dancing.  In one of the parts Mr. Johnson got too freaked out that he turned into a statue, he needed help from one of the musicians who didn't talk but he used sign language and he made Mr. Johnson say 'ah, ah, ah, ah', then Mr. Johnson was finally free. And Mr. Johnson went so crazy, so crazy, that he ran through the audience, ran, ran ran - he got so crazy that he just wanted to move to Hawaii.  I want to move to Hawaii too.  And he wears a disguise to try to get them to stop making that cat song - his disguise was a black coat with a long nose and glasses. He tried to get them to stop it but it didn't work, it just made thing go worser and worser. Till the end.

The play reminded me of the time a cat invaded our house. It almost scratched our radio and it chased up and down the stairs with my dad and my baby sister. But my dad kept trying to nicely lure the cat but my baby sister kept going 'Raar!'. It was funny and I accidentally made the cat go back into our house to start the whole thing again.

This is for children. To get your ears pierced hurts alot. Then it will slowly go away. You need to clean it and then you need to keep the earrings in for six weeks.  and you need to clean them and keep hair away from them and there's rules too and  you need to make sure that you read the rules so you don't get ear infections. and really keep them in, if you don't, the ears will just sew up and you have to go back to the shop and get all your ears pierced again and start all over again.  I just got my ears pierced and it feels nice that I got it.

My parents did not ask me if I wanted to get my ears pierced, I asked them if I could, they replied yes. That's how the whole story started.  It's because I thought it would look nice and I wanted to see what it looks like on me. That's the reason I got it. Go to the Eaton's Centre and on the second floor there will be an ear piercing shop that even has 100 different kinds of earrings or more or less that you could choose. And there's a food cafeteria down there where you can get food too. And there's lots more if you need. And that's all you really need to know about the earring piercing. You could get two at a time or on the weekends you could get one at a time.

I'm happy I got them and I was relieved I don't have to do them again.  It hurts a lot, it doesn't hurt like someone pinching your ears, it hurts way more than that. It hurts like someone going right through your ear. The pain lasts a short time.  It surprised me how it hurt so much. And the woman that pierced my ear was very nice.

I got flower earrings. Pink in the middle and white for the petals. I chose these because I just like them.

Missing Mom

It's hard to be away from your mom for a long time, even if you still have the other parent and a baby. It's really hard, to think about it, when you only have been away from your mom for a short time, it feels like a year. And it just gets stronger and stronger, when it feels like today, it feels like a year and then another year and a half of the third year. It's gets more paining to think about your mom going again but if you only had your mom go away for one time, you shouldn't feel that bad about it. and you can miss your mom for a long time, the same thing with your dad or if any person in your family goes away that lives in your house. but one thing is, some pets or family members that are pets can't go away - so there's one thing, except for cats.  I'm writing this because my mom is going away tomorrow to work with migrant women and she'll be back tomorrow night.
